If you had five minutes on stage what would you say? What if you only got 20 slides and they rotated automatically after 15 seconds? Around the world geeks have been putting together Ignite nights to show their answers.

Ignite was started in Seattle in 2006 by Brady Forrest and Bre Pettis. Since then hundreds of five minute talks have been given across the world. There are thriving Ignite communities in Seattle, Portland, Paris, and NYC.

Past Ignite Detroit Events

Ignite Detroit #1 was hosted at The Magic Stick in Detroit on February 25, 2010. Approximately 300 people attended.

Ignite Detroit #2 was hosted at Sound Board inside MotorCity Casino Hotel on April 14, 2011. Approximately 600 people attended.

Ignite Detroit #3 will be hosted at Sound Board inside MotorCity Casino Hotel on April 25, 2012.
